Weather Cancellation Policy

Here are the weather cancellation procedures for Jesse Lee Youth:

We do not automatically follow the school district’s cancellation decisions. Even if school is cancelled for the day, if weather and road conditions improve, we will likely hold our event.
A decision will be made at least 90 minutes prior to the start time of the event.
Should we decide to cancel the event, we will announce via TXT messages, Email notifications, and Twitter posts. Our Twitter posts appear on the homepage of our website in the upper-right corner. Once you bring up the website in your browser, clicking “refresh” occasionally will display the latest update.
If the road conditions are questionable or if the weather is likely to worsen during the scheduled meeting time, please check your Email or the website before leaving your home. Please do not call asking about the meeting, as the website and Email will tell you everything you need to know.
